Core function: particle size classification
Separate the crushed mixed materials into different specifications: The stone crushed by jaw crusher, cone crusher, impact crusher and other equipment has a wide range of particle sizes (from large pieces to stone powder). The durable trommel screen accurately divides the material into multiple particle size levels through screens with different layers and different apertures.
Produce finished materials that meet standards: For example, 0-5mm machine-made sand, 5-10mm gravel, 10-20mm gravel, 20-31.5mm gravel, etc. can be produced at the same time. These aggregates of different specifications are necessary for different application scenarios such as concrete, asphalt, and roadbed.

Remove soil and fine powder: Raw materials often contain soil and ultrafine powder. The innermost or finest screen of the durable trommel screen can effectively separate these impurities and improve the cleanliness of the finished material. Application scenario segmentation
Main screening of crushed materials: This is the most common application, located after the crushing equipment, and the crushed products are finally graded to obtain finished aggregates and machine-made sand of various specifications.
Preliminary screening/pre-screening of raw materials (ore): Before the raw materials enter the main crusher, the durable trommel screen can be used to screen out the fine soil, small particles or unqualified small pieces naturally present in the raw materials to avoid blockage or ineffective crushing caused by fine materials entering the crusher, thereby improving the crushing efficiency.
Sand washing/water washing: The durable trommel screen is often used in combination with a sand washer to form an integrated sand washing and recycling machine. The drum screen is responsible for screening and preliminary dehydration, while the sand washer is responsible for cleaning and further dehydration. It is particularly suitable for cleaning sand with high mud content in the machine-made sand production line.
Tailings/stone powder recovery: In the sewage treatment process, the mud or tailings that have been precipitated and concentrated can be dehydrated and the fine sand particles in it can be recovered through the durable trommel screen to reduce resource waste and environmental pollution.
