In the process of recycling waste tires into rubber particles, screening machines are used to separate rubber particles of different sizes, while conveying machines are responsible for transporting the material between the various process steps. Coreal Machinery has compiled some information for your reference. The following are specific equipment types and their functions:
The core function of a screening machine is to classify rubber particles according to their particle size, ensuring a uniform product size that meets the requirements of various applications (such as runways, building materials, and cushioning materials). Common equipment includes:

Principle: A vibrating motor drives the screen to vibrate, allowing particles smaller than the mesh size to pass through the screen surface, while particles larger than the mesh size are retained.

Suitable for classifying medium and fine-grained rubber particles. It features a small screen surface inclination, a high processing capacity, and can be used for multi-layer screening (1-4 layers), capable of simultaneously separating 2-5 different particle sizes.
2. Conveying Machine
Conveying machines must adapt to the characteristics of rubber particles (which are relatively light and may be elastic) and ensure stable material transfer between crushing, screening, and cleaning processes. Common types include:

Structure: Consists of a conveyor belt (rubber, PU, etc.), rollers, and a drive unit. The continuous motion of the conveyor belt transports materials. Horizontal or inclined conveying is possible.

Principle: Rotating spiral blades propel materials along a trough, making it suitable for closed conveying.

Structure: A chain or belt drives evenly spaced hoppers. The hoppers scoop material from the bottom, lift it to the top, and then dump it.

Principle: A vibrating device causes the conveyor trough to vibrate in a directional manner, causing the material to slide or jump along the trough. Generally used for short-distance conveying.
3. Iron Remover

Iron remover bars can be installed on conveyors or vibrating screens to remove iron chips and impurities entrained in rubber particles.

This separator uses airflow to separate light-weight fibers from heavier rubber particles.
